Walton, John H. (華爾頓, 約翰), 1952-

約翰．華爾頓（John H. Walton），希伯來協和學院哲學博士（Ph.D, Hebrew Union College），惠頓學院（Wheaton Graduate School and College）的舊約教授，尤其專注研究創世記，又致力從事舊約聖經與古代近東的比較研究；著作包括《國際釋經應用系列．約伯記》、Lost World of Adam and Eve, Genesis 1 as Ancient Cosmologym Ancient Near Eastern Thought and the Old Testament, Convenant: God’s Purpose, God’s Plan 等等，合著包括 Lost World of Scripture, IVP Bible Background Commentary: Old Testament, A Survey of the Old Testament, Chronological and Background Charts of the Old Testament 等等。
